The American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA) Board of Directors reaffirmed its current schedule of suggested maximum charitable gift annuity (CGA) rates at its Board meeting on May 30th. The ACGA regularly reviews the financial and actuarial assumptions behind its suggested maximum gift annuity rates to ensure they are fiscally responsible for charities. Also at the May 30, 2019 meeting, the ACGA Board of Directors voted to embark on its next 10-year study of gift annuitant mortality. The last study was done for the years 2005 through 2009.
